Privacy statement
This statement explains which personal data MQM Capital B.V. collects through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have.
Who we are

What data we collect
We only collect data you give us yourself, plus the technical data our hosting provider records automatically.
- Contact form. Your name, email address, project name and location, project type, an indicative financing amount, and anything else you write in the message field.
- Email. If you write to us directly, we process the content of your message and your email address.
- Server data. Our hosting provider logs technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit, in order to serve the website and protect it against abuse.
We do not use analytics or tracking software, and we do not build visitor profiles.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To answer your enquiry and explore working together. Basis: taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- To keep the website secure and available. Basis: our legitimate interest in a functioning, protected website.
- To comply with legal obligations, for example administrative and tax retention duties. Basis: legal obligation.
Who has access
Your data is seen by the people at MQM Capital who need it to answer you. We also use service providers who process data on our behalf, under a processing agreement:
- Netlify, for website hosting and for receiving contact form submissions.
- Google, which delivers the typefaces used on this website. When a page loads, your IP address is sent to Google so the font can be served.
Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a relationship are kept for up to two years, so that we can pick the conversation back up if you approach us again. If we start working together, we keep the data for as long as the relationship lasts and afterwards for the periods required by law. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for access to your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@mqmcapital.nl. We will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you are entitled to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Security
The website is served over an encrypted connection and we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access. Please note that email is not an encrypted medium; if you want to share confidential project documents, contact us first and we will agree a secure route.
Changes
We may update this statement, for example when the website or our services change. The date below shows when it was last revised.
